The Nanyang Technological University’s (NTU) Sports and Recreation Centre caters to the sporting and recreation needs of the university community. The Centre aims to provide a complete learning experience for NTU students as participation in competitive sports and recreation activities form an integral part of University education.
The Sports and Recreation Centre manages the sports facilities in NTU, and also organises recreational programs for students and also manages NTU’s elite sports teams and athletes. The centre also hosts the Healthy Lifestyle Unit which implements health education and healthy lifestyle programs for students.
The centre will host the Basketball, Football, Rugby 7s and Table Tennis during the 18th AUG from 10-19 July 2016. Also based within the NTU campus, the National Institute of Education’s (NIE) Sports Facilities will play host to the AUG’s archery competition.
